Can DeepFakeCheck detect face-swap (deepfake) videos?
The video pipeline samples up to 10 timestamped frames across the full clip and reviews repeated visual inconsistencies. Because it does not inspect every frame, a brief manipulation between samples can be missed.
Does DeepFakeCheck support C2PA verification?
Yes. We check for C2PA (Content Authenticity Initiative) manifests embedded in supported files, including images signed by DALL-E 3, Flux, and certain camera manufacturers. A valid manifest is a strong signal of provenance.
